A unique outdoor experience in the woods, in the heart of an Acadian community. Great hiking trails onsite lead to a splendid ocean view.

Both yurts are equipped with ten beds. Weekdays during July and August, the yurts will be used by La Colonie Jeunesse Acadienne summer camps however weekends and the rest of the year, the yurts will be able to be rented for overnight stays or daytime events.

Youths under the age of 19 must be accompanied by an adult.

Rates:

• April 1 – June 15 & August 20 – November 15: $150/night per yurt (max. 10 persons)
• November 16 – March 31: $75/daily per yurt. Overnight stays not permitted during this timeframe.

We provide:

• Bathrooms and showers on site
• Yurt security – key cards

Please bring:

Summer

• Pillow and sleeping bag
• Flashlight
• Outdoor gear such as a bicycle

Winter

• Pillow and sleeping bag
• Flashlight
• Winter gear such as snowshoes, cross-country skies

What to do in the area:

• There is an observatory/lighthouse within 300 metres of the yurts and that faces the ocean where you will be able to admire the coastline
• The yurts are located within le Petit Bois, a set of trails with interpretation panels that will allow you to learn about the natural and cultural history of the site where you can stroll along the shore and breathe the salty sea air.
• Visit the campus of Université Sainte-Anne, which includes the Acadian Centre as well the Visitor Information Centre located in the Rendez-Vous de la Baie. Here you will learn about the Acadian culture starting from its very beginning.
