Black Sheep Gallery

The Black Sheep Gallery opened in 2000. The gallery, which is situated in a converted 1,200-square-foot fish plant on the shore of Jeddore Harbour, is located less than one hour east of Halifax. The work of over 40 Nova Scotia folk artists past and present is featured, as well as a selection of folk art from Ontario and Quebec.
The artists shown at the gallery include Maud Lewis, Joe Norris, Joseph Sleep, Eddie Mandaggio, Collins Eisenhauer, Clarence “Bubby” Mooers, Cyril Hirtle, Barry Colpitts, and Leo, Ransford and Bradford Naugler, Angus Trudeau, Arthur Villeneuve, Ewald Rentz, and many more.
The gallery is open Tuesday to Sunday, 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. from June 15th to September 15th, or by chance or appointment.
