Overview

The Annapolis Valley Macdonald Museum is located in the first consolidated school in Canada (1903) in Middleton, Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region.

The museum features the Nova Scotia Museum collection of clocks and watches; a collection of local artifacts; a unique natural history display; a recreated classroom and general store; and other historical exhibitions.

A research library with extensive genealogical records and local historical information is also a highlight of the museum.
