Grace Arts Centre & Ice House Gallery
Open year-round
Our unique accommodations are vintage Canadian-built cabooses & boxcars, authentic on the outside, redesigned and developed into private deluxe suites on the inside with reflections of their railway past throughout. We also maintain a vast and eclectic gift shop, as well as a locally roasted coffee bar & cafe in the original 19th-century train station, built circa 1887.
Our guests can enjoy local craft beers & meads from our Baggage Room Bar and live music nights on our railway platform. During your visit, our 565-foot & 400-ton train remains a dominating sight to see within the village of Tatamagouche as you experience our property or stroll along the old rail bed (now the Trans Canada Trail) that meanders alongside our not so forgotten railyard.
