Overview

Another historic building in the Queens Heritage Complex is the Queens Museum of Justice (The Liverpool Court House). The Liverpool Court House is a landmark built in 1854 in the Greek Revival temple style. This beautiful Provincial Heritage Property houses displays on the colonial history of the Justice system, thanks to the diaries (1766-1812) of Liverpool’s first Magistrate, Simeon Perkins. The theme of Justice is presented through his eyes. Displays in the Court Room are dedicated to Justice and the historical preservation of the building.
