Trestle Trail

South Shore, Liverpool

Overview

The Trestle Trail is a former section of rail line which meanders along the Mersey River and across the Trestle Bridge in the picturesque town of Liverpool. This is a beautiful community walking trail with a wide, well-packed surface. Walkers, cyclists, and wheelchair users can read about the rail and river history and the surrounding area on interpretive panels.

The wooded section of the trail is now connected to Pine Grove Park.
