Cape Breton Highlands 3 Peaks Challenge

The annual Cape Breton Highlands 3 Peaks Challenge will take place Saturday, June 14, 2025.

Now in it’s 15th year, this popular hiking event welcomes hiking teams of four to register to hike three mountain trails in Cape Breton – all in one day!

*tentative* 2025 Mountain trails:

• Franey Trail (on a newly designed trail – approximately 13 km)
• Broad Cove Mountain Trail (2.3 km)
• Aspy Trail (9.6 km)

Teams will hike approximately 25 km and will encounter elevations of approximately 3,500 feet throughout their hikes.

Only 24 teams will be allowed to participate in this popular hiking event. Team registration fee for this event is $200 and includes a long sleeve t-shirt and cooling towel per team member along with a Parks Canada Cape Breton Highlands National Park one-day park pass, map, and other items.
