Surf & Water Sports

Nova Scotia has quickly become a globally recognized surf destination. Perfect waves for learning are accompanied by warmer waters in the summer months (June through September), while larger waves grace our numerous point breaks through fall, winter and spring (September through May). Surf shops, surf rentals and lessons are offered in multiple locations around the province – check individual listings and sites for the surf spot closest to you! Our fantastic surf is one of the reasons Nova Scotia is “Canada’s Ocean Playground”.

For an adventure under the waves, divers can rent equipment and discover incredible dive locations with the help of dive tour guides.
