Surfing in Halifax, the perfect half day adventure during your stay! Located only 30 min from downtown Halifax, Lawrencetown Beach is the perfect location to take a lesson and ride a wave for the first time. The surfing in Nova Scotia is world class through the late fall and winter months, while summers offer ideal conditions for beginners and first time surfers.

Nico Manos’ East Coast Surf School offers 4 daily beginner lessons; you can book in easily online via our website, or email, text or phone call. Payment is only due at the beach on the day of your visit. Bring home some amazing photos and a unique experience from your vacation this year!

Hours of operation: Booking office 8am–9pm; Beach kiosk 9am–6pm.Dates are weather and wave dependent. Lessons will run as long as the ocean is warm enough.
