Ha!ifax Comedy Fest

Every spring, Halifax erupts in laughter as more than 30 comedians from across North America hit stages around the city during Ha!ifax ComedyFest, the funniest 4 days of the year! 

Celebrating 30 years in 2025, Halifax Comedy Festival began in 1995 as an Atlantic Canadian comedy festival, promoting and showcasing talent from the Atlantic Provinces in the clubs of downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia. This year, the festival is bringing the laughs to Nova Scotia from May 7-10 in various locations across Halifax.

Three decades later, the comedy festival boasts multiple shows in various venues across the city featuring local, national, and international headlining artists.

As one of the most successful and longest-running comedy festivals in Canada, Ha!ifax ComedyFest is a must-attend event each spring in Halifax.
