Stripers of the Strait offers the following guided sportfishing tours:

Stewiacke River Striped Bass Fishing
Full day –  Suitable for all levels of experience
The Stewiacke River in Nova Scotia is a world-class destination for striped bass fishing, especially during the spring run in May when the fish migrate in abundance. Landing a 40-pound bass is not uncommon here, offering anglers the chance to reel in these powerful, hard-fighting fish. Stripers of The Strait provides guided fishing by boat, giving you the best opportunity to hook a trophy-sized Striped Bass.

Northumberland Shore Striped Bass Fishing
3 hours Sunup or Sundown – Suitable for all levels of experience
Striped Bass fishing on the Northumberland Strait offers an unforgettable experience, whether you’re beach casting with spinning gear or trying your hand at fly fishing. Sunrise and sunset are prime times for hooking into the bigger stripers, while daytime can be just as exciting with large schools of smaller stripers, often called “schoolies.” This is a shore-based fishing, with no boat required.

Margaree Atlantic Salmon Fishing
Full day – Suitable for experience fly fishermen or those wanting to improve their skills
Cape Breton’s Margaree River is a bucket-list destination for any angler looking to test their skills on one of Canada’s top Atlantic Salmon fisheries. Known for its strong salmon runs and incredible scenery, the Margaree offers some of the best walk-and-wade fly fishing you’ll find anywhere. There’s more to Cape Breton than salmon. We also guide for trout on other Cape Breton rivers, including the Middle River and River Denys, which are home to some of the biggest brook trout in the province.

Northumberland Rivers Trout & Atlantic Salmon
Full day – Suitable for experience fly fishermen or those wanting to improve their skills
Nova Scotia’s Northumberland Strait rivers offer some of the best fly fishing opportunities in the province for both Atlantic Salmon and trout. These smaller, intimate rivers provide a unique experience for anglers looking to test their skills in scenic, uncrowded waters. The salmon runs on these rivers offer exciting opportunities to hook into fresh, hard-fighting Atlantic Salmon. For trout anglers, these same rivers hold both brook and brown trout.
