Overview

The Colchester portion of the Pictou-to-Oxford Short Line Trail is a 26-km multi-use former railway that has been converted to a trail with numerous access points around the village of Tatamagouche on Nova Scotia’s Northumberland Shore. From hikers and walkers to cyclists, ATVers, horseback riders and skiers, snowshoers, and snowmobilers in the wintertime, this multi-modal trail is a popular way to explore our region.
