Dates: Offered Saturdays and Sundays, June through October (and beyond when weather permits), subject to availability and weather conditions. Departure times change daily as we rely on the tides. The first departure is usually about an hour and a half before high tide.
Price: 4 guest minimum, 6 guest maximum required per departure
- Departing Scots Bay: $145 + HST and online booking fees, per person.
- Departing Hall’s Harbour: $299 + HST and online booking fees, per person
How to Book: Please visit Where It’s At Tours’ website to complete the online booking request form. Reservations will be confirmed via email and text. You will be contacted to discuss departure times and to get height/weight information for each participant for safety gear.
Good to Know:
- To ensure the correct survival suit size, the height and weight of every guest will be asked for in advance.
- Please dress in layers. The survival suits can get cozy. Water-resistant footwear or boots would be most comfortable.
- All departures are weather-permitting. Huntley’s Marine and Diving Services will ‘make the call’ around ~2 hours before departure, or sooner. You will be contacted by the phone number and email on your booking reservation unless otherwise specified.
- Tour runs rain or shine, during light or moderate rain. Tour does not run if risk of lightening or unsafe wind and wave conditions.
- Scots Bay departures:
- Please arrive at the Scots Bay wharf, oceanside (0.5km before the Cape Split Parking lot) at least 25-minutes in advance of your departure.
- Parking is available on the road (pull all the way over), or at the Cape Split parking lot (~10 minute walk).
- The ramp going down to the floating wharf at Scots Bay has loose stones, please watch your footing. Vehicles can drive down to drop off.
- Hall’s Harbour departures:
- Please arrive to the Western side of Hall’s Harbour (take the detour route off the 359) near the Hall’s Harbour Lobster Pound and Restaurant at least 25-minutes in advance of your departure.
- Parking is available at the Hall’s Harbour Lobster Pound and Restaurant.
- A waiver to be completed will be presented in advance of departure.
- Bringing your cell phone or personal camera is at your own risk as we will be on the water, sometimes moving at high speeds and enjoying the natural motion of the Bay of Fundy!
- Transportation pick-ups & drop-offs may be available at various locations Halifax Regional Municipality, South Shore, and Annapolis Valley locations, for an additional cost.
- Gratuities aren’t expected, but they are accepted.
