Historic Northumberland Shore Stonehouse Leather Makers’ Experience

Visit TABITHA + CO’S® historic location, ‘The Stonehouse’, and enjoy the authentic feel of the workshop, the warm scent of leather, and a raw material sampler to create your own leather item in this Maker’s Experience.

Hear the story of how Tab established her Northern Nova Scotia maker studio in the heart of the Town of Pictou. Learn about the process behind the Mindfully Made® premium leather goods, with demos of hand crafting techniques, industrialized production, and basic crafting techniques. Along with complimentary refreshment, each guest will receive a raw material sampler to create their own leather item to take home.

After the workshop or during your stay, let the TABITHA + CO® team make a reservation at one of their nearby preferred partners to receive a discount on your meal.

Experience Includes:
● Raw material sampler – the contents of the sample vary depending on time of year and availability.
● Maker’ Experience Instructional Worksheet.
● A tour of the TABITHA + CO® Stonehouse store and workshop.
● Complimentary refreshment from one of their local partners.

Length: 2-hour duration.

Dates/Availability: Available weeknights 5:30-7:30 p.m., year-round. Please contact TABITHA + CO® for dates and availability.

Price: Workshops start at $175 + tax per person. Workshops require a minimum of four participants to be held, and up to a maximum of eight participants per workshop. Further enhance your experience by booking a stay (for up to two guests) in the Maker’s Maisonette.

● Advance booking required.
