Hike the Cobequid Highlands’ in the heart of the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark, with a local guide. Then, get cozy around the woodstove at That Dutchman’s Cheese Farm and savour a delicious, local picnic lunch featuring gourmet cheeses.

• Hike or snowshoe breathtaking fall and winter landscapes and connect with nature in the Cobequid Highlands along wooded trails and hilly terrain with your expert, local guide.
  • When winter conditions are ideal: snowshoe rentals provided + 20-minute confidence-building session to ensure entry-level snowshoe enthusiasts are comfortable with the technique and equipment. Hiking poles also available.
• Hear insights about the Cliffs of Fundy UNESCO Global Geopark as your guide shares hidden wonders and geological history of the area.
• Savour delicious, award-winning cheeses around a giant woodstove with a picnic style lunch at That Dutchman’s Cheese Farm and warm beverage.

Cost: $220 for 1- 4 participants. Add additional participants for +$50 per person, up to a maximum of 6 participants.

Good to Know:

• Duration & distance: 4 hours, 3 km (including return), followed by a gourmet picnic at That Dutchman’s Cheese Farm. This tour is suitable for beginners. The trail encompasses a 3 km loop exploring woodland terrain.
• Meeting point: Cliffs of Fundy Welcome Centre parking lot (3246 Highway 2
  Economy). Please meet 15 minutes prior to the tour start time.
• What to wear and bring: Warm fall or winter outdoor clothing and footwear including hiking or winter boots. Dress in layers to keep the wind/sun out. The weather can be unpredictable. Bring a daypack with drinking water and your preferred snacks on the trail. If you would like to take pictures, bring your camera with fully charged battery.
• Interested in staying overnight in Economy? Stay at the nearby Four Seasons Retreat perched on the coastline just a few kilometers away from the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark Welcome Centre meeting point and enjoy your escape to the Cliffs of Fundy Geopark this winter!

Conditions & Cancellations: Advance booking is required; tour times depend on the tides and are different every day. All tours require a minimum of 1 person, max 6. Cancellations must be made at least 72 hours in advance of scheduled tours. If your tour is cancelled due to poor weather conditions, there will be no charge and we will try to rebook your tour.
