Overview

The Halifax Waterfront Seafood Tour is an unforgettable journey that will take you to the heart of local seafood along the boardwalk that stretches alongside the Halifax Harbour.

Traversing the Halifax waterfront, you’ll visit three local restaurants for a delightful trio of classic seafood dishes that will tantalize your taste buds before visiting Halifax’s best chocolatier for delicious artisanal ice cream or sorbet, and an assortment of decadent chocolates.

Tours can accommodate 14 people per tour. Great for travellers visiting Halifax, including aboard cruise ships. Group tour options are available for groups of 6 to 30 participants; please contact Curated Food Tours for more information on group tours.

Your Halifax Waterfront Seafood Tour four course menu includes:

  • seafood chowder
  • full-sized lobster roll
  • Newfoundland-style fish cakes
  • artisanal ice cream and chocolates

Tour details

  • When: Tuesday to Sunday from early April through to early November
  • Where: Beginning in the lobby of the Halifax Marriott Harbourfront
  • Walking distance: 1.3 km to 1.9 km
  • Tour times: 11:00 am – 1:30 pm and 2:00 pm – 4:30 pm
  • Price: $115 per person.

Optional wine pairing is available. Tour participants must be 19+.

  • Customers can cancel the booking at any time 48 hours before the start of the food tour. Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours' notice of cancellation. Customers will also receive a full refund or credit in case of operator cancellation due to weather or other unforeseen circumstances. Contact us by email to cancel or inquire about a cancellation. Cancellation less than 48 hours (but more than 24 hours) before the start of the tour will be refunded as a gift certificate that needs to be used within 90 days. Cancellation less than 24 hours before the start of the tour do not qualify for a refund or exchange. No-shows will be charged the full price.
