Before Sable Island: Drawing Horses with Briana Corr Scott
Contact:
Overview
Join celebrated Nova Scotia artist and author Briana Corr Scott for a one-day drawing experience through the Annapolis Valley designed to build your skills and confidence. You’ll start with an indoor sketching lesson and charcuterie at ArtCan Kitchen Studios in Canning, then move outside to sketch live horses at Willow & Withers Stables. The day ends at a local Valley winery, where over a sample of local NS wine, you’ll break down the day, talk about what drawing techniques you’ve learned, and hear about what it’s like to visit Sable Island!
If you’ve ever dreamed of visiting Sable Island with your sketch book in hand, this is where that journey begins. Briana has drawn Sable Island’s wild horses in the field. She’ll show you how — with real horses right in front of you.
