Overview

Whiskey Jack Gallery is a year-round artist-run gallery that focuses on reclamation, preservation and conservation success stories. The gallery’s mission is to ensure environmental projects have a voice by reaching new audiences to inform, connect and instill pride in the great work that is being done to advance reclamation and conservation techniques across Canada.

The gallery has several interactive experiences: a large 100-square foot floor map of Mahone Bay, QR codes, YouTube videos, eco-tours of conservation sites, articles, sound buttons and virtual reality goggles to connect visitors to 360-degree views, information, colouring books and educational material. The gallery is located on the waters edge at Indian Point and looks out on to the pristine protected islands in Mahone Bay. Dogs, kids and steel-toed boots are all welcome in the gallery. Come for race night in the summer and schedule a visit at a local Inn to see the Blue Nose II across from the gallery in July. Christmas shopping in the winter is one of a kind and a destination location for a drive or picturesque walk along the water.

We believe it’s important for people learn about Canada’s responsible environmental practices and the paintings highlight organizations who are allocating resources to care for the land. Stop in to learn more about conservation and leave with stories, a custom post card, or home décor item featuring local conservation sites. Shipping original artwork is complimentary within Canada.
