Overview

Thomas Raddall Provincial Park overlooks Port Joli Harbour on Nova Scotia’s South Shore. With over 650 ha (1,600 acres) the park offers visitors a wide range of outdoor experiences including hiking on 11 km (6.8 mi) of coastal and wooded multi-use trails; exploring historic sites and interpretive panels; camping; picnicking; and relaxing on beautiful secluded beaches. The park is across the harbour from Kejimkujik National Park Seaside.

 

Nearby: 

four migratory seabird sanctuaries, as well as Perkins House, Fort Point Lighthouse Park, Queens County Museum and the Milton Blacksmith Shop (Liverpool).

 

Campground accommodations include:  

83 wooded overnight sites (unserviced; 13 walk-in). Group sites available.

 

Park amenities include:  

flush toilets, showers, disposal station, dishwashing station, trailhead building with wood stove, three white sand beaches (unsupervised), playground, trails for walking or cycling, fire grills, wood, and ice. Wi-Fi is available at the park office (password required). This is a Campground Host park. Leashed pets permitted.
