The Lakes Golf Club & Resort are located on 10 acres of land overlooking the beautiful Bras d’Or Lakes. Our main building features a grand 2-storey entrance, Proshop, 12 rooms and suites, Founders Restaurant (with lake-facing patio) and our beautiful new event space. We also have 12 modern chalets and the MacPherson House located on site. We are adjacent to Ski Ben Eoin and just a five-minute walk from the Ben Eoin Marina.
The Lakes Golf Club was built in 2010 and offers dramatic elevation changes and spectacular views of Cape Breton Island. Designed by world class, award- winning designer and architect Graham Cooke, each hole offers distinct character and stunning views. Cooke boasts that The Lakes Golf Course offers diversity through both its design and physical setting with rock outcrops, long mystical views, crashing streams, grassy meadows and charming golf holes all combined to make golf at the Lakes exciting and rewarding.
