Perched along the breathtaking Cabot Trail between Baddeck and Ingonish, The Clucking Hen Café & Bakery has been welcoming hungry travellers for over 27 years. With sweeping ocean views, a bright and cozy dining space, and a menu full of flavour, it’s no wonder this spot has become a Cabot Trail experience essential!
We’re open daily from mid-May to late October, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner – with popular dishes like our buttery lobster rolls and smash burgers, be sure to leave room for our famous butter tarts that steal the show! Our in-house bakery is always humming, turning out fresh cinnamon rolls, butter tarts, and more, while our licensed café pours everything from lattes to local wine.
