Overview

The beautiful St. Mary’s River has been a popular spot for anglers and nature lovers for decades. St. Mary’s River Education & Interpretive Centre, located in Sherbrooke in the Eastern Shore region, shares with visitors the reasons why through fascinating exhibits related to salmon angling on the St. Mary’s River. 

The Centre has an excellent historical collection of fishing tackle, photos and memorabilia of famous anglers, such as Babe Ruth! For nature lovers, the Interpretive Centre features displays on the wood turtle, birds, butterflies, bats and other native species. Learn about fishing and conservation with an audiovisual presentation. 

Visit the gift shop where unique items can be found. We are close to a provincial picnic park and nature trails. Bus tours are welcome. Visa, MasterCard and Direct Debit are accepted.
