Sissaboo River Retreat offers three unique domes-The Fireside, Driftwood, Timberland- each thoughtfully decorated to provide a fresh experience every time you visit. Each dome features a spacious private deck with propane fire pit, perfect for taking in the ever-changing beauty of the river as the tides shift every six hours.
Domes are fully equipped for a comfortable stay, including a BBQ with a side burner, a kitchenette stocked with all the essentials, a personal 3-piece bathroom, cozy beds with linens, a heat pump for heating and AC, and internet access. Just bring your personal items, food, and drinks, and you’re all set! Ideal for peaceful solo retreats, family adventures, or small group getaways. Both children and pets are welcome.
All domes include a private hot tub for added relaxation.
Located just a 5-minute drive from the historic village of Weymouth, where you’ll find all the supplies you need. Weymouth offers a grocery store, pharmacy, hardware store, Nova Scotia Liquor Commission, general convenience store, gas station, library, Sissiboo Storybook Trail and access to the Rails to Trails, great for those who like to explore with ATVs. During the summer months, Visitor Information Center and Cultural Center with a gift shop of locally made crafts and art. There’s also a boat launch available for those looking to explore the river further or cast in a line and try to catch a big one.
