River Nest Wilderness Cabins are located on the Cabot Trail in North River Bridge within the St. Ann’s Bay area near Baddeck. We offer five uniquely handcrafted and individually designed and themed glamping cabins that blend seamlessly with their natural surroundings, including:

  • Mermaid’s Den
  • Heron’s Haven
  • The River Nest
  • The Cardinal’s Inn
  • The Octopus’s Garden

Each cabin comfortably will sleep up to four people and has a view of the river which you can enjoy from the your cabin’s patio deck with a roof overhang, perfect for enjoying the quiet in the rain. This serene location allows for a peaceful and rejuvenating night’s sleep.

Across the street you’ll find our North River Kayak Tours guided kayaking business where you’ll enjoy our on-site sauna, wood fried pizza oven, communal fire pit, barbecue and more.

Cabins include:

  • A cozy loft area with thick and comfy mats
  • Top quality hotel grade queen mattresses with fresh bedding, towels, and wash cloths
  • A tuned acoustic guitar and tutorial book
  • A small desk
  • Heating

Site amenities include:

  • Two separate full service washrooms
  • Italian Delonghi coffee machine, toaster, microwave, and fridge within Welcome Centre
  • Communal timber frame cooking area
  • On-site sauna
  • Wood-fired pizza oven
  • Communal fire pit with seating (firewood included)
