Overview

Located in a former lighthouse, the Centre provides a wealth of information about the lighthouses of Nova Scotia and celebrates the mysterious, mystical place of lighthouses in our history. The light tower on top on the centre and the oceanfront lookoff offer a wonderful view of the sea and the community of Port Bickerton.

An artist retreat is now located in the former lightkeeper’s residence. Check out our website or Facebook page for more details.

With 3.7 kilometers of nature trails, the interpretive centre and retreat are part of the Port Bickerton Lighthouse Beach Park.
