Page1 Theatre is a professional Queer Theatre Company, presenting and producing shows year-round.

Our largest project is a 6-day annual festival, OutFest, which is the largest Queer theatre festival in Mi’kma’ki/Atlantic Canada. Taking place every April across the city of Kjipuktuk/Halifax, OutFest presents some of the best Queer theatrical work from Local, Regional, and National artists. This is a great opportunity to experience Queer theatre from across the country in one place.

Throughout the year, folks can join us for a laugh and catch one of our many improv shows, Queer-prov. This event is family-friendly, includes free workshops, and guest appearances from local Drag artists. We also produce an annual holiday concert, Unwrapped, with local artists, and live music.
