Linwood Harbour Campground
Overview
The Linwood Harbour Campground is a family owned and operated campground in Antigonish County, located between Exit 37 and 38 on the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 104), just 10 minutes from the entrance to Cape Breton Island, home of the famous Cabot Trail. We are the perfect stop over on the way to or from the NFLD ferry in North Sydney. Our quiet, relaxing setting overlooking the ocean makes us the perfect campground to stay while exploring Cape Breton Island, the Eastern Shore and the Northumberland Shore in northeastern Nova Scotia.
Our campground includes 37 open and wooded overnight sites with electrical (30-& 50 amp), water, sewage hook-ups, including:
- 31 sites with 3-way hook-up; 6 sites with 2-way hook-up
- 5 unserviced sites
Big rigs welcome! We offer pull-through sites as well as extra-large ocean view sites (220 m2/2,400 sq ft.).
Campground amenities and facilities include:
- heated washrooms with flush toilets and pay showers with wheelchair accessibility

- free WiFi
- firepits and firewood
- small playground
- small onsite store with supplies and ice
- book exchange and DVD lending library
From the campground, you can walk on a nature trail that takes you to beautiful Linwood Harbour where there is beach where you can swim in the summer months. There are a number of restaurants, services, attractions and activities located within 20km of the campground.
