Hyclass Ocean Campground, located on the oceanfront of the Northumberland Shore provides guests with a fun-filled family vacation. Our full service sites offer a beautiful view of Linwood Harbour. We also provide private wooded sites.
The Northumberland Shore offers more warm-water ocean beach parks than anywhere else in Atlantic Canada. You can enjoy a mini or extended vacation with your family and friends swimming in the ocean water, exploring the inviting beaches and surrounding attractions, eating fresh lobster from the local wharf, or playing a game of golf on the spectacular golf courses. From Hyclass it’s only a 10-minute drive to Cape Breton Island, where you can explore its rich beauty while driving along the famous Cabot Trail.
Our campground has something for everyone. We have 74 sites that include unserviced sites, electrical and water sites, and full hookup (EWS) pull-through sites, as well as 2 cabins (one sleeps 2 and the other sleeps 4). We have both open and wooded campsites, and 550 metres (1800 feet) of oceanfront. Guest amenities include flush toilets, disposal station, pay showers, laundromat, kitchen shelter, a sink for tenters to do their dishes, a store, free wi-fi, pay phone, ice and fire rings. Campground activities include ocean swimming, a playground, horseshoes, volleyball, bocce, washers, bird-watching, fishing, and non-motorized boat rentals.

Cancellation Policy:
We are happy to provide a full refund less a cancellation fee of $5 for reservations canceled more than 2 nights before the date of your arrival.
Reservations canceled less than 2 nights from the date of your arrival will be charged a one night fee.
No shows will be charged for their entire stay.
Online booking fees are non refundable.
No refunds or cancellations can be made for inclement weather.
Any refunds owed will be refunded to the credit card on file.
