Overview
Harbour Tide House is a bright, breezy oceanfront cottage with colourful harbour views. Launch a kayak from the cottage garden. Walk to the beach for swimming and beach combing; or take a day trip and explore the South Shore.
Harbour Tide House is located in the seaside community of Port Mouton – famous for its gorgeous white sandy beaches. The cottage has a lively view of the harbour, breakwater and colourful fishing boats. The lawn slopes down to the shoreline where you can launch a kayak and take to the waters to explore the bay. Just 20 minutes down the road, Carters Beach is within an easy walking distance. Liverpool is the closest town. Here you will find restaurants, shopping, museums, Hell Bay Craft brewery, galleries and bookshops. The Kejimkujik Seaside Adjunct, Shelburne and Lockeport as well as Lunenburg, Chester and Mahone Bay would all be manageable day trips.
Harbour Tide House is a newly renovated 3 bedroom cottage overlooking the Port Mouton Wharf. Beautifully appointed the cottage has a fully equipped spacious kitchen complete with complete with fridge, stove, microwave and dishwasher. Tastefully decorated with nautical accents, the large living room has a wood burning fireplace and comfortable seating for reading or watching the Apple TV. There is a separate dining room for hosting delicious seafood meals, or family game nights. A cozy reading nook with chaise lounge creates a quiet getaway – a place to curl up with a good book or indulge in an afternoon nap. A patio door leads from the dining room out onto a private deck with lawn furniture and propane BBQ.
The cottage sleeps 5 in three bedrooms: one downstairs and two upstairs. The ground floor bedroom has a queen size bed and views of the back garden. The master bedroom, upstairs, also has a queen size bed and sunrise views over the harbour. The second upstairs bedroom has a twin bed with a pack and playpen for little visitors to use. There is 3-piece cottage bathroom on the ground floor and a washer and dryer in the basement.
All bed linens and towels are provided. Harbour Tide House has internet access. It does not have satellite TV, but it does have Apple TV and a Roku stick. The cottage is not pet friendly.
Safety
For the protection of our guests we are leaving a full day between guests in order for our cleaning staff to completely clean and sanitize the space. Covid-19 cleaning, health and safety protocols are followed.
Minimum stay
5 to 7 days in July and August; 3 days in May, June, September and October

Payment Options
Deposit required at time of booking. Email Transfer is the preferred method of payment. Visa, MasterCard, or personal cheque in Canadian Dollars also accepted.
Cancellation Policy
50% refund for cancellations made at least 60 days before check-in. 25% refund for cancellation made between 30 and 60 days prior to check-in. No refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of check-in.
