Fisherman’s Cove is a beautifully restored 200-year-old fishing village offering visitors a peek into the past and a variety of fun activities to enjoy daily. 

Situated in Eastern Passage, just 20 minutes from downtown Halifax, stroll the picturesque boardwalk and visit the many boutiques, shops and restaurants. You will find a variety of unique Maritime arts and crafts representing over 100 local artisans. Dining options range from ice cream cones, burgers and fish & chips to a full-service sit-down restaurant with a large patio overlooking Halifax Harbour that specializes in seafood.

Fisherman’s Cove can be accessed by car, bus, bike or boat as it hosts its own public access dock and is situated on a direct bus route. Enjoy a day at MacCormacks Beach Provincial Park or charter a boat tour for deep-sea fishing and island tours at McNab’s Island. You can also visit the museum located inside the Heritage Center, free of charge.
