Join us in the celebration of man’s earliest and surely most romantic form of flight. Free of the earth, and all your cares, you will float, as if by magic, to places where only your imagination has soared. As children, we dreamt of floating among the clouds… let us take you back to a time when you believed in fairy tales and longed to fly on the wings of a bird. The world seems an almost perfect place from the basket of a hot air balloon.

Your hot air balloon adventure begins when you meet your pilot and flight crew. Morning flights meet approximately a 1/2 hour before sunrise and evening flights approximately 2 1/2 hours before sunset.

At the launch site, your pilot and flight crew will brief you on your upcoming balloon adventure. Then the fun really begins! As you watch with anticipation, your balloon takes shape before your eyes. Once fully inflated and ready for takeoff, you climb into the basket and take to the skies.

During your flight you will get a spectacular bird’s eye view of the beautiful Annapolis Valley and will drift silently over the countryside where you will watch for wildlife, take in breathtaking views of forests, lakes, and vineyards and talk with envious onlookers down below. After drifting serenely for approximately 45 minutes to an hour we prepare for landing.

Once on the ground, we share in the oldest of ballooning traditions and revel in the peace, tranquility and beauty of your flight. A celebration of both new found friends and the heavens above.

For ballooning we require light winds, good visibility and no precipitation. We fly at approximately 1,000 feet above built up areas, but will come down to touch the tree tops or skim across the corn fields if we are out in the countryside. The flights are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour in length, however we do require you for up to 4
hours in total for the entire adventure.

Since we fly with the prevailing winds, our flight patterns and landing sites vary due to the changing wind directions. There is no wind chill and very little feeling
of movement or sensation of height.
