Overview

Welcome to Cribbons Coastal Domes & Cottages, where the charm of Nova Scotia’s Sunrise Trail meets the comfort of cozy, oceanfront stays. Perched on a cliff with sweeping views over St. George’s Bay and the Northumberland Strait, our accommodations offer the perfect spot for anyone looking to unwind, explore, and enjoy the simple pleasures of life by the sea. On a clear day, you can see across the water to Cape Breton Island.

Whether you’re soaking in your private hot tub, wandering along the nearby sandy beach, or stargazing from the comfort of your bed, every moment here is designed to connect you to the natural beauty of our rugged coastline. Watch the lobster boats head out from the nearby Cribbons Point Wharf at dawn during lobster season or spot sailboats drifting across the bay on a calm afternoon. It’s all part of the laid-back rhythm of life on the Sunrise Trail.

We offer three unique accommodations:

  • The Dome features a king-size bed, private hot tub and a peaceful deck surrounded by nature with incredible ocean views.
  • Sea and Sky Cottage is our larger cottage that comes complete with a private hot tub and seating areas outside while inside, you’ll find a full kitchen, two queen beds and a pull-out couch. Allowing up to six guests comfortably, this cottage is an ideal getaway for families or a small group getaway.
  • Salt and Sand Cottage offers a cozy retreat for up to four guests, with two queen beds, full kitchen, outdoor sitting and eating area and private hot tub, along with all the comforts needed for a relaxing coastal stay.
