Rose and Kettle Tea Room at the Cole Harbour Heritage Farm Museum
From May 15, 2025 to October 15, 2025
The site of an original Cole Harbour Farm, cultivated continuously for over 200 years, this community museum is a rural oasis amid a modern suburban area. The site includes heritage buildings and barns, a working blacksmith shop, a community archives, farm animals, award winning gardens, a naturalized greenspace and freshwater marsh with boardwalk, and a tearoom and giftshop.
The Rose and Kettle Tearoom, located in the farm house, is a member of Taste of Nova Scotia. A small complement of traditional farm animals, may be visited inside or out; the sheep and cows are usually happy to receive a friendly pat! Our heritage barns and historic Giles House, Cole Harbour’s oldest home, feature exhibits of the community’s cultural and natural history. Admission is by donation so that all may reconnect with their rural roots!
Open Wednesday through Sunday, 10am to 4pm.O/S by appointment.
