Chapel Gully Trail
Open year-round
Cape Canso R.V. Park & Marina is located in the Eastern Shore region of Nova Scotia. An open campground hugging the shoreline, where populations of great blue herons, Atlantic puffins and sandpipers call home, you can be sure that the down-home hospitality you’ll find here is quintessentially Nova Scotian.
Guests can satisfy their wanderlust by travelling to nearby Canso, where they can experience the unique, local flavour of an historic fishing village. Take in the famous, foot-stomping Stan Rogers Folk Festival or the Canso Regatta, where boat races, dances, parades, concerts and traditional hootenannies can round out the experience of a traditional Maritime celebration. Canso is also home to the Canso Islands National Historic Park. Take a short trip to Grassy Island, a once-thriving community of fisherman and merchants and one of the early European fishing ports in North America.
Our campground includes 33 overnight sites, complete with electrical, water and sewage hook-ups as well as pull-throughs. Amenities include flush toilets, washrooms, showers, laundry facilities, and dump station. A boat launch, tuna boat charters, and saltwater fishing from shore are all available. This is also an excellent area for sea kayaking.
We are open from mid-May to late October and welcome both families and their pets.
