Situated on 40 acres overlooking the Bras d’Or Lake on the Trans Canada Highway (Hwy 105) just outside of the village of Baddeck, the Baddeck Inn’s central location on Cape Breton Island makes it an ideal accommodation for travellers who plan to explore the beauty and attractions on Cape Breton Island, including the famous Cabot Trail.
There is a Tim Hortons and Irving Gas Station located at the bottom of our driveway and just minutes away you can access many recreational activities, including golfing, walking and hiking trails, lake and river fishing, boat tours and sailing cruises on the Bras d’Or Lake from the Baddeck waterfront. While in Baddeck, don’t miss out on exploring the Alexander Graham Bell National Historic Site that honours one of Baddeck’s most well known summer residents, Alexander Graham Bell, who designed many of his inventions at his summer residence on nearby Beinn Bhreagh overlooking Baddeck. Plan a beach day and visit Kidston Island Beach or stroll around the village where you’ll find gift shops, boutiques and local restaurants and cafés.
Our accommodations include eight air-conditioned units with double or queen beds, ensuite 4-piece baths, cable television, fridge, keurig coffeemaker, patio door and a deck.
