Located in beautiful West Advocate, the house offers a picturesque view of the Bay of Fundy – home to the highest tides in the world – Advocate Harbour, Cape d’Or, and Cape Chignecto, all from the front deck. This home was built in the 1880s and has been thoughtfully renovated to ensure that the warmth and charm of the 19th-century architecture remains.
This home away from home consists of a full kitchen, three bedrooms (2 queen beds, two singles, & a sofa bed), one-and-a-half baths (one 4-piece bath, one 2-piece bath), Wi-Fi, satellite TV, washer, dryer, and a barbecue. There is a large front yard that affords privacy and provides a safe area for children to run and play. This vacation home is ideal for families or small groups looking for a perfect escape from the everyday routine.
We are within walking distance of the West Advocate Beach and Cape Chignecto Provincial Wilderness Park. Minutes away is Advocate Harbour which provides many attractions and services for the outdoor enthusiast. There are hiking trails, kayaking, boat tours, bird watching, beach walking, and ATV and fishing opportunities (seasonal). There is a full convenience store and gas station located in Advocate Harbour.
Some other attractions nearby include restaurants, Cape d’Or Lighthouse, Joggins Fossil Cliffs UNESCO World Heritage Site, Fundy Geological Museum, Ship’s Company Theatre, and Port Greville’s Age of Sail Museum.
