Welcome to Waves End RV Campground, winner of the « Prestigious Campground » Award from RV Life in 2024.

Waves End RV Campground is situated on Cape Breton Island and consists of 9.6 acres running between the Cabot Trail and the Gulf of St. Lawrence, we are ideally located to serve as homebase while enabling our guests to explore all that Cape Breton has to offer. Each night, enjoy watching the sun set into the ocean from any of the sites in our campground. Boondockers and Bikers welcome!

Our campground includes:

• 98 RV sites (pull throughs and back-in sites), including:
  • 88 RV sites: 40′ x 32′ (68 with power/water hookups)
  • 10 RV sites: 60′ x32
• 36 regular tent sites; 3 oceanfront tent sites
• Oceanside Geodome with queen-sized bed and sitting area and private deck with access to the campground’s washroom, cooking and dishwashing facilities

Campground amenities include:

• access to the beach available from the property
• Ice cream shop
• propane refill services
• dumping station
• dish washing and kitchen shelter/cooking station
• Washroom and shower facilities
• Laundry facilities
• Wi-Fi available in the campground

Fresh Cape Breton lobster and crab cooked and served to our guests when in season.

We do not offer seasonal camping sites.
