Breakfast at Brittney’s
Open year-round
The Old Warehouse Café & Lounge
Great Food. Great Music. Great Company.
A local favourite for more than 30 years, The Old Warehouse Café & Lounge offers hearty homemade meals, live music, and genuine Maritime hospitality in a beautifully restored former industrial warehouse. Operated by Nancy Walsh for the past 28 years, it’s renowned for its all-day breakfast served with homemade breads, famous biscuits, and a variety of homemade jams. In fact, the biscuits have become so well known that visitors from Toronto once made a special stop after a gas station attendant back home insisted they couldn’t leave Nova Scotia without trying them.
The menu features fresh comfort food made with quality local ingredients, including seafood chowder, burgers made with local beef, fish and chips, wraps, salads, and seasonal favourites like strawberry shortcake on homemade biscuits and blueberry desserts.
The full-service lounge is a welcoming gathering place where locals and visitors come together to enjoy Open Mic on Thursdays, Karaoke on Fridays, and the popular Sunday Kitchen Party Jam Session. Everyone is welcome to join in—bring your voice, your instrument, or simply your love of music. Whether you’re singing your favourite song, playing along with fellow musicians, or cheering on the performers, you’ll find a warm, friendly atmosphere where everyone feels at home.
Whether you’re sharing a homemade meal, enjoying live local entertainment, or connecting with friendly locals, The Old Warehouse Café & Lounge offers an authentic taste of Nova Scotia.
