Queensland Cottages

Tucked away at the end of the Queensland Beach in the scenic South Shore region of Nova Scotia, Queensland Cottages are cozy, comfortable and bright. Set on a private, two-acre lot filled with lush greenery, the rustic cottages are just a few minutes stroll along a quiet cottage road to the popular lifeguarded sandy beach. Completely self-contained, our fully equipped cottages are ideally located.

A short half hour drive along the south shore takes you through Chester and Mahone Bay and to the historic town of Lunenburg, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel east to Peggys Cove to view the lighthouse and watch the waves crash against the rocks. A day trip across the province takes you into the Annapolis Valley and to the Bay of Fundy, with its world-famous high tides. Bustling downtown Halifax with its shops, fine dining and museums can be reached by an easy 40-minute drive.

The cottage accommodations at Queensland Cottages include three cozy, well-appointed vintage cottages. Choose between the large two bedroom cottage with queen beds and a futon sofa bed and the two one-bedroom cottages, each with a 3-piece bathroom with shower. All cottages are equipped with a smart TV (Netflix provided), a DVD player, Wi-Fi and a full kitchen. Guests can relax on the front veranda, enjoy the back deck which has a gas barbecue, or at the picnic table on the back lawn while roasting marshmallows in the nearby firepit.

E-transfer and cash are accepted.

Cancellation Policy: Weekly rentals must cancel 4 weeks prior to day of arrival. 50% deposit required.
