Mickey Hill Provincial Park
Open year-round
Temporary closure
Nova Scotia has restricted activities in the woods and banned open fires because continued dry conditions have greatly increased the risk of wildfires. Mickey Hill Provincial Park is temporarily closed as it primarily offers a wooded trail experience. See other available parks.
Mickey Hill Provincial Park, situated in Lequille (Route 8, 7 km / 4.5 mi south of Annapolis Royal) in the Bay of Fundy & Annapolis Valley region, is a day-use park with a 1-km loop trail and a swimming area.
The park features graveled trails, with boardwalks in rough areas and steep staircases through rocks, and a suspension bridge. Trails are marked with nature interpretive signs. There is a picnic area on the river, as well as an unsupervised beach on lake and vault toilets.
Cross-country skiing is available in the winter months. (Please note that there are no facilities in the winter season.) Parking is at the gate only.
