Cranberry Campground is nestled along the shores of beautiful Merigomish Harbour in Lower Barney’s River on the Northumberland Shore. We offer open and wooded family camping with a beautiful view of Merigomish Harbour. Enjoy our swimming pool, kayak the harbour or visit a nearby beach. We are just 20 minutes from New Glasgow and Antigonish, where there are restaurants and shopping areas, and Big Island Beach is just seconds away. You can spend the day at Arisaig Provincial Day Park or visit Steinhart Distillery. We are an ideal location for you to enjoy the many attractions that the Northumberland Shore region has to offer.

We have 35 overnight sites (electrical hookup, water hookup, sewage hookup, unserviced) and 78 seasonal sites; 50-amp sites available, and 6 pull-throughs.

• 1 bedroom cottage (1 double bed) overlooking the water
• 2 bedroom cottage (2 double beds) overlooking the water
• Stand alone cottage (1 double bed and 1 single bed)

2-night minimum stay in the accommodations; long weekends – 3-night minimum stay.
