Overview
The Anchorage House & Cottages, located in Hubbards in the South Shore region, overlooks the beautiful boating paradise, St. Margaret’s Bay. Our central location is great for visiting Halifax, Peggy’s Cove, Mahone Bay, Lunenburg and the Annapolis Valley. We are close to restaurants and beaches, and centrally located for day trips.
The Anchorage House is an 8 bedroom, 7.5 bathroom coastal inn overlooking Hubbards Cove. With king- or queen-size beds, private or ensuite 4-piece bathroom, and coffeemaker. In addition, we offer 12 cottages with fully equipped kitchens and 2 cabins with 3-piece (shower) or 4-piece bath; most beds are queen-size, some are double or 3/4. Each of our cottages has a private deck, barbecue, cable television, and some units have a fireplace and/or whirlpool tub. An outdoor heated pool, onsite children’s playground, hot tub, sauna and private wharf are also available.
