If you like traditional music, mark these special Thursdays on your calendar this summer! Enjoy talented entertainers in a special series of traditional music featuring local musicians.

  • July 2, 2026 – Sébastien Dol
    • Representing the Acadian regions of Clare and Argyle, Sébastien will offer up some foot stomping fiddle tunes, French folklore, and Cajun songs.
  • July 16, 2026 – Livin the Dream
    • Join Ray and Maurice as they sing popular shanties, blue collar working songs, and some originals while telling stories and sharing banter that will have everyone laughing along.
  • July 30, 2026 – Alex Meisner
    • Alex Meisner grew up in the Annapolis Valley and has been playing music at local establishments for the last 15 years. He enjoys playing and sharing his own renditions of his favourite country/folk/traditional music that he has heard over the years.
  • August 13, 2026 – Vickie Deveau
    • Join Vickie Deveau for a blend of Country and French music that’s sure to get your toes tapping!
  • August 27, 2026 – Syd Read
    • Syd specializes in exploring the rich tradition of Scottish instrumental and vocal music from the 17th century to the present. He composes Scottish influenced songs, as well as original songs inspired by the rich history of the Annapolis Valley.
  • September 11, 2026 – Riverwinds
    • Join Riverwinds for an afternoon of baroque music as the light filled sound of two flutes and a clarinet fills the Habitation.
