The Lakes Campground, Restaurant & Cottages is located on the Cabot Trail at North East Margaree on Cape Breton Island. Our property is situated on beautiful Lake O’Law surrounded by the natural beauty and sparkling waters of the Cape Breton Highlands.

The Lakes is only minutes away from the famous Margaree River, a Canadian Heritage River renowned for its salmon fishing and offers a variety of beautiful pools. There is something for everyone here. Enjoy Celtic music, ceilidhs, and other authentic cultural events, visit the stunning coastline and wonderful crafters, or fly fish for salmon or trout in the Margaree River Valley. You can also enjoy a day trip through the Cape Breton Highlands National Park and the legendary Cabot Trail with panoramic views of canyons, highlands, and seacoasts, hiking trails, golf, beaches, look-offs ad interpretive programs.

Our accommodations include:
