Overview
Join us for a full day on the water in the tiny fishing village of Lower Prospect, Nova Scotia and along the beautiful coast of Terence Bay – it will surely be a highlight of your summer
Your sea kayaking tour will leave from our sheltered cove on the Lower Prospect peninsula, and spend the first half of your tour exploring incredible bays, inlets, islands and shorelines such as Cub Basin, Rogue’s Roost, Betty’s Island, or the Terence Bay Wilderness Protected Area. We will return back to base for lunch for a chance to stretch our legs and enjoy the scenic view from our wharf.
Afterward, will venture onto the lower half of the Terence Bay wilderness preserve for a captivating hike along Shipley’s Head. We will visit the Terence Bay lighthouse and a stroll along the SS Atlantic Heritage Park trail while enjoying the magnificent view of the Terence Bay cliffs and we will have a chance to visit the small Interpretation center on site before heading back to ECO.
