Immerse yourself in the beauty of the Gaspereau Valley with this one-of-a-kind printmaking experience where nature, art and culture intertwine. Artist and printmaker Julie Rosvall shares local insights as you create your own custom piece of art and uncover a deeper connection to nature in the balance of art, food, and community.
Experience Highlights:
- Take a guided foraging walk through orchards and forests, soaking in the sights, sounds, and smells of the natural world as you gather natural materials ethically and sustainably.
- Get to know your guide, local textile artist and printmaker Julie Rosvall, whose work has been exhibited internationally.
- Hear local insights about the cultural and ecological history of the Gaspereau Valley, as your guide shares stories that connect the land to its people—past and present.
- Transform your foraged finds into unique works of art as you create striking relief prints using water-based inks and natural pigments.
- Enjoy local flavors with thoughtfully prepared refreshments
