Bioluminescent Sea Kayak Night Tour

Start your paddle as the sun sets, enjoying the glow on the water. Explore the calm, sheltered waters of the renowned LaHave Islands, while hearing stories about the landscape and history of the area. As night falls, keep an eye out for the glow of bioluminescence created by your paddles moving through the water.

These tours are scheduled during the new moon and first quarter moon, when the skies are the darkest and you’re most likely to see the spectacular light show.

• June 13, 14 at 9:00 – 11:00pm
• July 13, 15 at 9:00 – 11:00pm
• August 10, 12 at 8:30 – 10:30pm
• September 9, 10, 11 at 7:30 – 9:30pm

Price: $99 per person

Good to Know:

• This is one of Cape LaHave Adventures’ most popular kayak tours, so please book in advance
• For safety reasons, only tandem kayaks are used for night tours. Solo travellers and groups with odd numbers will be paired up with another paddler.

Conditions:

Advance booking required. Cancellations received 48 hours or more prior to tour date will receive a full refund. Cancellations received less than 48 hours before tour will pay in full, unless a suitable replacement is found. If a replacement is found, a full refund less a 20% administration fee will be issued. Cape LaHave Adventures reserves the right to cancel or alter any tours due to weather or insufficient registration. In these cases, full refunds will be issued and they will do their best to reschedule.
