The Halliburton’s three early 19th century townhouses have been cleverly combined to create this charming small hotel located in downtown Halifax. Contemporary amenities and personalized service in a historic setting make The Halliburton a favourite retreat for visitors and locals. The hotel’s cozy library and colourful garden courtyard offer quiet places to relax. Situated on a quiet street, we are a short stroll to Halifax’s historic waterfront, popular restaurants, and unique shops. Many attractions, such as the Maritime Museum of the Atlantic, Art Gallery of Nova Scotia and Canadian Museum of Immigration at Pier 21 are within a ten minute walk. Our accommodations include 29 air-conditioned guest rooms in 3 historic townhouses (Queen, Double; including 4 suites with fireplaces). The heritage architecture of our townhouses means that our hotel rooms and suites are truly unique. Rooms differ in size, layout, number of beds and décor. All rooms have private bathrooms, and are air conditioned in the summer months. Some rooms have individual controls while others are centrally cooled and heated. Additional room amenities include cable television, high-speed wireless Internet access, in-room coffee, hair dryer, and an iron and ironing board. Some of our guest rooms have fireplaces and sitting rooms.
The Halliburton is an ideal venue for small meetings, intimate weddings, and dinner events, our meeting room can seat up to 20 people and up to 48 people standing. We offer dining for private meetings and special events.
