A 172-year-old property located at the intersections of the Avon River and Annapolis Valleys, The August House is a year-round destination offering 11 modern guestrooms – including one fully wheelchair accessible unit on the main floor of the inn. With common spaces inside and out, you’ll discover quicky why this inn has become the perfect location for hosting intimate gatherings such as weddings, elopements, wellness retreats, business meetings, bespoke culinary events and more, for up-to 80 people, in Windsor, Nova Scotia.

Beginning to end – from decadent beds to character-filled modern spaces, the Inn has been fully renovated with all rooms having ensuite bathrooms with heated floors and modern temperature controls. The addition of two cedar saunas and outdoor spaces like firepits, are available to enjoy year-round. Your stay includes a nutritious European-style breakfast each day. We’ve created beautifully designed, simple and comfortable spaces that are easy to use but largely self-serve. With contactless check-in, you can move through your visit with us on your terms.
