Overview

Embark on an unforgettable voyage from Halifax, Nova Scotia to Sable Island National Park Reserve (Sable Island NPR) with Sable Ocean Adventures. Sail on a 47-foot sailboat to Sable Island NPR and discover wild horses, grey seals, historic shipwrecks, and breathtaking ocean vistas.

Sable Ocean Adventures will give you up to 3 days of access to all island areas (except for the exclusion zones). This unique opportunity will allow you to see more of Sable Island NPR than any other method of travel.

Trips run from late June to early August – 5 trips available, 4 people per trip. Trips run from Sunday to Saturday with 5 days on the boat. The sail takes 24 hours to reach the island, stay on anchor for up to two nights if weather permits. Embark from the Halifax Waterfront.
